Kyocera Corporation last month launched its new Nova series A3 multifunction printers via its US division. Designed for high-volume printing and scanning requirements, the Nova series emphasises productivity, intelligent workflow integration, and sustainability – professional quality output, lower operating costs, and a better management experience for end users.
The Nova series raises the bar in performance with monochrome printing reaching speeds of up to 105 pages per minute, and colour models up to 80 pages per minute, enabling businesses to confidently tackle intensive workloads head-on.
On the scanning side, AI-powered straight-through scanning technology on the series can scan at speeds of up to 300 pages per minute and can process batches of up to 5,000 sheets while automatically detecting errors. “The business printing industry is ready for a game-changer,” said Howard Weng, president of Kyocera International. “With the ability to replace toner in mid-job to eliminate disruptions, and additional productivity and efficiency capabilities, we believe this could be the ‘next big thing’ that the industry has craved to offer our customers. Kyocera is proud to be the leader.” The dual toner system lets you change toner on a Nova printer without ever stopping an active print job.
The printers also come equipped with built-in cloud capture tools, providing one-touch digitisation of documents with support for search and edit functions. AI-enhanced scanning capabilities also include barcode recognition, intelligent skew correction, and even thick media support. The Nova series includes both monochrome and colour models with print speeds ranging from 75ppm to 105ppm. Monochrome models are TASKalfa MZ7500i, MZ8500i, MZ9500i, and MZ10500i, while colour models include MZ7500ci, MZ8500ci, and MZ9500ci.
